Gerald Wolfe nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year!
The Dove Awards aren't normally something that I blog about, due to them not having anything to do with Southern Gospel, however, this year is different. Our very own Morristown, TN resident and Greater Vision founder, Gerald Wolfe, has been nominated for Male vocalist of the year. The full list of nominees include: Jon Foreman, Mark Hall, Marvin Sapp, Mark Schultz, tobyMac, Chris Tomlin and Gerald Wolfe.
The 39th Annual Dove Awards will be shown live from the Grand Ole Opry on April 23, at 8:00 pm ET. It will only be on the Gospel Music Channel, which will limit most folks from being able to see it. But, that's OK with me because the Dove awards don't do a whole lot for me. I hope Gerald wins but it is sorta strange seeing a Southern Gospel performer nominated in this category. I wonder what's up with that?
